Over the years we have had countless different problems we've had to deal with, ranging from both serious to minor repairs. Often, customers don't realise that some problems can be repaired relatively straightforwardly, and are frequently surprised to find out that this is the case.

The following  images are a perfect examples of were customers often don't realize that these types of repair are possible, and illustrate perfectly typical repair situations for us.

1. Before: These windows where desperate for a little care & attention.

2. During: All the old flaking paint & rotten sill is removed and repaired.   All the missing putty is replaced with a two part resin based filler which cures within minutes and can be overpainted immediately,( no more waiting around for weeks until the putty cures).

3. After: What a difference! This is a routine repair for us.

We were asked to replace this front door step which had badly rotten beams beneath it...

Which where removed...

And replaced with re-inforced concrete lintels...

Concreted over...

Then re-tiled...

We replaced this rotten window sill...

And fitted a protective timber glazed frame over the original leaded window to help preserve it.

This type of repair is typical in older properties...

And usually pretty straightforward to repair...

This section of window was too rotten to repair...

So we had this one especially made to replace it...

This Apex was badly rotten because of incorrect construction & materials..

This is it after being correctly re-instated and painted...

We were asked to replace this badly rotten window...

With this PVCu window during painting. The window was in an incredibly difficult position above a neighbours roof who didn't want anyone on the roof. We were able to replace this one (& 3 others) without setting foot on the roof...

Before. The two holes in this wall where created  'compliments' of the family pet dog.

After. This is the same wall after a straightforward faultless repair.

The next image shows the start of the application of a 'stain block' treatment to a badly stained room. ( Notice how white the stain block is against what used to be white decor.) The discolouration was caused by a combination of nicotine and the fumes from a leaking gas fire. (This type of staining always 'bleeds' through a newly painted surface if not treated properly beforehand.)

Before. The crack down the side of this door jamb is typical of what you'd expect to find in a brand new house like this one. ( especially after the door has been slammed shut by the wind a few times.)

After. Again, another faultless repair achieved after only around 1 hour.

These concertina garage doors where in a terrible state when we where asked to do something with them. Neglected for many years and with very little remaining paint left on them, they where unusable and the entire length of the bottom of the doors where quite rotten because of their contact with the floor. Their condition was so poor that it was hard not to condemn them, but with proper preparation / the bottom of the doors simply repaired and a few coats of good quality paint applied, these doors now operate and look brand new again. ( Surprising what you can do in a couple of days, eh?)
